Meet the Purple Van Handyman — current program engineer for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Peter Bethea of Raymond, MS grew up taking things apart and putting them back together. His thrill for creating and troubleshooting, coupled with his heart for service, sparked interest for a way he could further utilize his God-given gifts and tangibly care for those around him. Just as Peter is known to be quite the handyman, he is known as “the guy who drives the purple van.” And so — you guessed it — the Purple Van Handyman, LLC. was born.
Peter says,
“Diagnosing common issues that we as property owners face on a day-to-day basis and finding their solutions is something that I enjoy. Whether in the home or at the workplace, I am delighted to serve local community members by meeting their maintenance and repair needs. The Purple Van Handyman services homes and businesses in the greater Jackson Metro area, including Vicksburg and everywhere in between. We are a family-operated business that takes great pride in serving our community and its families. We believe that the home is the epicenter of the family; therefore, its upkeep and proper maintenance are essential to providing a comfortable, safe place to gather. Family is one of our greatest values which means that when you hire the Purple Van Handyman, you're not just a customer, you’re a part of the family!
Finally, but most importantly to me, before family and community, comes reverence for my God. I believe the Bible to be true and applicable to each of us and the world we live in. I believe that it should shape the mind of the believer with a kingdom-perspective as we anticipate the return of Christ Jesus and the initiation of His millennial rule. I believe that we should also understand that in order to enter that kingdom, one must believe in Jesus for the precious gift of everlasting life (or in other words, be convinced of Christ's ability to secure our eternity with Him); understanding that by believing, one then obtains everlasting life with Him and life that cannot be taken away or destroyed!”
“For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” — John 6:40
